Classroom Tip: Tips for Being a Successful Student

• Read everything in an online course. Especially, read all of the instructions for each assignment before starting to submit.

• Double check after you post. Make sure the post went through. If you can see the post, I can see the post. If you cannot see the post, I cannot see the post. You also want to double check that you attach your assignments and that it is the right copy of your assignments.

• Take care of technical difficulties. Please get in touch with me if you have any technical issues.

• Stay on top of your calendar. Manage your time efficiently and effectively. Online learning is fast paced and, with the already fast pace of our daily lives, it can be easy to get behind. However, do not get behind with assignments. It is difficult to catch up. Plan ahead each week. Make a schedule that allows a few hours each day for homework or other related tasks.

• Ask, ask, ask questions regarding what you are concerned or unsure about. Send me an email as soon as possible. Do remember, your end date is very important and once you have completed the course please send me an email. Thanks and best of luck!
